Filing Requirements

Renewal Requirements

• Power of attorney, notarised.

Notes

• Late filing of documents: not allowed.

In addition to the 10 years renewal, it is also necessary to file a Declaration of Use every five (5) years.

Assignment Requirements

• Power of attorney, notarised.
• Deed of assignment document signed by the assignor and assignee, notarised.

• Late filing of documents: not allowed.

Merger Requirements

• Power of attorney, notarised.
• Merger agreement document signed by both parties, notarised with verified Portuguese translation.

Notes

• Late filing of documents: not allowed.

Recordal of Change

• Power of attorney reflecting the new name or address, notarised.
• Certificate of change, notarised with verified Portuguese translation.

Notes

License Requirements

• Power of attorney, notarised.
• License agreement document signed by both parties, notarised with verified Portuguese translation.
