UPDATED: Dec 13, 2019 04:39 ISTAs many as 67 Rohingya families living in Delhi-NCR welcomed the Citizenship Amendment Bill and urged the government to include them also in the Bill. These refugees largely worked as domestic workers in Delhi, Noida and nearby areas. One such refugee Alliuddin said, "It would have been great if the government included us." Another refugee Mohammad Harun said, "We are very worried about the bill. We have been living here for 12 years and look at the government with hopeful eyes to solve our issue. No one wants to leave their country and we came back from Myanmar due to atrocities."

Mohammad Sharif said he came here in 2012 and living without fear but this bill creates uneasiness. Sloganeering continued for two hours with protesters taking jibes at both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
